Blake Park Vert Ramp Skate Park
Blake Park features New Zealand’s largest vert (vertical) ramp and allows skaters to reach greater heights than traditional ramps. At 14-foot high (4.36m) the vertical drop eases into a half-pipe. The vert ramp is recommended for more experienced skaters. Parents and caregivers are advised to supervise any younger skaters. Skaters will find the vert ramp opposite the intersection of Maunganui Road and Clyde Street, in close proximity to the popular Destination Skatepark.
The park is open to the public and free to use. It is a great place for skaters of all skill levels to practice and hone their skills. The park is well-maintained and cleaned regularly, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all who visit.
